Appearance

The mimic octopus can grow up to a length of 60 cm (including arms), with a width or approximately one centimetre (roughly the width of a pencil). They have eight arms, and small horns protruding from each eye. Their colouring will go from a normal light brown/beige to a striped white and brown when needing to scare off predators (mimicking poisonous species). They can also change their shape to imitate other predators as well. They have bilateral symmetry, and a mantle containing most of their organs. They have a mouth located underneath their arms, while their eyes are in their head-like structure.
